Casas Project is a design and architecture fair held annually in the city of Quito, Ecuador. The fair brings together architects, designers and real estate professionals to exhibit and discuss the latest trends in design and construction of houses and buildings. In this blog we will highlight our participation in this edition.
It was held for the first time in Quito in 2014, with the aim of creating a space where architects and designers could show their work and discuss trends in the construction industry in Ecuador.
Since its inception, the fair has grown in popularity and has become a major event in the calendar of the design and construction industry in the country.

Casas Project has attracted some of the most important architects and designers in Ecuador, who have used the fair as a platform to showcase their work and connect with other industry professionals.
Traditional and innovative construction materials at the service of creativity, art in every corner, color and powerful concepts: a reflection of new times that manage to create trends. However, for Carolina León, CEO of CASAS magazine There is something to highlight: “The most important thing about this meeting is that we have created a strong and consolidated community with top-level professionals who every year push their vision of architecture to the limit. They share experiences, learn about new possibilities with the assigned materials and give us an exquisite vision in each space.”
Participants demonstrate their potential and make their artistic and architectural concerns visible to inspire those looking for something different.
There are more than 40 spaces – and more than 100 professionals from different areas - that break patterns, that show the versatility of the materials and accessories, that reinvent their use and reveal the potential of the local industry.
This is the second consecutive year in which we participate as Milani Cocinas, previously the space we generated was The Cave Kitchen.
For this event we created a kitchen with a “Gravitational Challenge” concept, which involved generating suspended volumes and playing with the perception of the materials, textures and lighting of the composition.
The challenge when participating in Casas Project is to create a space from scratch in less than 45 days, being a record time for our entire team. The transformation of the space included a change in the finishes of walls, floors and ceilings, design and manufacturing of kitchen furniture, lighting and audio.
Where can you find us?
This year, Casas Project opens its doors from March 23 to April 2 and it is consolidated as one of the most impressive experiential spaces: each corner is a demonstration of art and functionality to surprise the visitor.
The name of our space is Gravity, It is booth #22 and will be open to the public from 11am to 7pm, Monday to Sunday.

What is the value of the ticket?
