For example, in the kitchen opt for a floor that is easy to clean and resistant to water, and a rustic wood floor in the dining area may be your best option since it will create a contrast that will visually define the spaces.

Idea 2: Divide your kitchen with dining room with elements
To divide the space in a subtle and functional way we can use several options: kitchen islands, Tables as an extension of the island, elongated tables alone or American bars.
